They have been initiated in May-June 2017, on several selected sites including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.za-alpes.org\/\"><strong>Vallon Roches Noires<\/strong><\/a> (from 1,900 to 2,800 meters above sea level), the <strong>Cerces-La Bruy\u00e8re<\/strong> sector and the <strong>Ecrins National Park<\/strong> (from 2,200 to 3,200 meters above sea level). In addition, the studies carried out within the framework of the ALPALGA project can benefit from sampling performed in other contexts, including the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.za-alpes.org\/ORCHAMP\"><strong>ORCHAMP<\/strong><\/a> project, on the sites of Chamrousse, Anterne, Loriaz, Vieux-Chaillol and Ristolas (from 1,200 to 3,000 meters above sea level). From 2017 to 2025, ALPALGA has increased its exploration to <strong>Mont Br\u00e9vent<\/strong>, close to Chamonix, <strong>Glacier de Saint Sorlin<\/strong>, and other locations in the <strong>French Alps<\/strong>.
